Thoughts of a triathlete

It´s obvious I enjoy triathlon. What I like the most is enjoying to the fullest and being at an acceptable level; that is why I take care of myself inside and out. I suppose that explains my crazy schedules, the planning, the nutrition; all are key for sports-driven person wishing to give his best – and enjoy to the fullest.

The only thing left for me to say is that there is no better stimulus to training than registering for a race, an Ironman or any event that challenges me and my body to go further and achieve more. I love the feeling of getting done with the toughest workout, ride or race and know that I just accomplished something I never thought I could.

Es obvio que disfruto del triatlón. Lo que más me gusta es disfrutar al máximo y estar en un nivel aceptable, por lo que tengo que cuidarme tanto por dentro como por fuera. Esa es la razón de mis locos horarios, de la planificación, y la alimentación; son fundamentales para todo deportista que quiera dar lo mejor de sí – y disfrutar al máximo.
Solo me resta decir no existe mejor estímulo para entrenar que inscribirse en una carrera, un Ironman o cualquier otro evento que me desafíe a mí mismo y a mi cuerpo a ir mas allá y alcanzar mucho más. Me encanta el sentimiento de terminar con un entreno, un ride o un evento de los más duros y pensar que acabo de completar algo que nunca pensé que podría.
